How to perform a Scope 12 inspection?

Performing leakage current test for a scope 12 inspection with a taylor system is performed by:

  1. Short-circuiting the PV panel string with a MC4 Y-plug (Staubli PV-AZB4-EVO 2-UR).
  2. Connecting the measuring device to the PV string through the remaining MC4 male connection. Alos, connect the measuring device to the ground.
  3. The maximum acceptable leakage current is 50 µA when testing with 1000 V.
