Generating solar power and storing it for later. At Tandarts Krans, a dental practice in Groningen, Zon123 installed an energy system featuring Taylor solar panels, a 10 kW three-phase inverter and 18 kWh of battery storage.

The solar panels generate electricity during the day that can be used straight away. When generation exceeds demand, the surplus can be stored in the battery. This keeps solar power available when the panels produce less electricity or none at all, helping the practice use more of the energy it generates and draw less from the grid.

The installation also includes a Taylor EPS Box Pro, which provides backup power to the circuits connected to it. The result is a single system that combines solar generation, storage and added reassurance.

Careful attention was also paid to the finish, from the positioning of the solar panels and the roof penetration to the neatly routed cabling around the inverter and battery.

This project brings together everything that defines our approach: advice tailored to the customer, careful installation and a practical approach to using self-generated energy.
