Technology built
for real roofs.

Optimized per one-sixth of a panel.
Each Nano Optimizer manages a small section of the panel, so shade on one part doesn’t drag down the rest. In a TU Delft field study, that delivered up to 20% more yield in shaded situations.
Get more from your solar energy.
Shade or soiling—such as leaves or bird droppings—on one part of a solar panel can block the current of your entire system. That’s why microinverters or optimizers are often used: they limit the blockage to one panel. Taylor panels with Nano Optimizers do it smarter. They optimise per 1/6 of a panel, so only a small portion is affected by shade or dirt. That’s how you get up to 20% more energy from your roof.
So what does it really deliver? The darker the panel segment, the more energy it produces. For comparison, we calculated the yield with string inverters (with shade scan) and microinverters. The result: up to 20% more energy with Nano Optimizers.
One DC system, fewer losses.
Panels, battery and energy manager run on one DC system, avoiding the conversion losses of switching between AC and DC, around 60% fewer conversion losses than typical microinverter or string-inverter setups.
Less energy loss due to voltage fluctuations.
Many conventional systems, including string inverters, microinverters, and plug-in batteries, convert electricity between direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) multiple times before it reaches the battery. Every conversion results in energy losses.
Taylor keeps your energy in DC all the way from the solar panels to the battery. By eliminating unnecessary conversions, Taylor reduces energy conversion losses by around 60%, allowing you to use more of the energy your panels generate.
Fewer connectors, less to go wrong.
No bypass diodes and half as many connectors as typical systems, for a safer, more reliable installation with automatic fault detection.

Fire-safe by design.
Much solar fire damage stems from bypass diodes or incorrectly connected connectors. Taylor panels have no bypass diodes and 50% fewer connectors. That drastically reduces fire risk. They’re even installed on petrol station roofs for that reason.
European infrastructure.
Privacy at every step.
The majority of inverters send data directly to poorly protected servers outside Europe. Your energy data is personal, which is why Taylor routes all system data through the Taylor Gateway directly to secure European servers, fully compliant with GDPR. Control signals from energy suppliers also pass exclusively through European servers before reaching your battery, helping to protect both your privacy and the stability of the electricity grid.

Your data stays
in Europe.
The Taylor Gateway sends your system data directly to secure European servers. Control signals from energy providers also pass through European servers before reaching your battery, keeping European infrastructure at the heart of your energy system.
Protecting your privacy goes beyond where data is stored. Taylor processes personal data in line with the GDPR’s requirements for responsible handling, security and transparency. Together, these measures help protect the information behind your everyday energy use.
